This free interactive webinar on June 22, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. Central Daylight Time will teach you how you can use the EPA's Food Waste Management Cost Calculator to estimate the cost-competitiveness of alternatives to food waste disposal, including source reduction, donation, composting and recycling of yellow grease. This webinar will feature an example of successful food waste reduction from Eric Eisenberg, the executive chef at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. Attendees also will learn how EPA's food waste management hierarchy can help guide food waste reduction decision-making.
